In high school I scored as an INTP.

I decided that now might be a good time to re-take this test. Post-college, 2 years graduated, and no career changes later, I have scored as an INFP.

Apparently I am generally the Introverted, INtuitive, and Perceiving….but I wobble between the Feeling and Thinking parts. Since T and F are defining parts, its interesting that I am undecided somewhere.

The only thing I have changed in my life is much more personal than careers and institutions: trying my best to be more understanding of the people around me, more aware and accepting of the human condition, and more focused on unlearning negative behaviors. These are interesting results.

THINGS I LEARNED IN NEW BRUNSWICK

Anna has been a vegan for 19 years.

Red sprinkles are not vegan.

New Brunswick has one of the best scenes I’ve ever gotten to participate in (for a night).

Christina is VERY cool.

Devin is VERY cool.

April & Sally are VERY cool.

Jill is VERY cool.

A year ago I did a Kimya Dawson cover set with Christina without really knowing her and it was the best decision I ever made to participate in something. I would go to her house in Elizabeth after class or on the weekend and we’d sit in her backyard under the fig tree and she’d play guitar as i figured out how to compliment her playing on a glockenspiel. It was really nice and I really miss that, and having a “reason” to hang out with a person I now consider one of my closest friends.

A year later and I wish I could see her every weekend and in 2 months she’ll be moving away to Bloomington! Money and time and distance and anxiety and depression get in the way of seeing each other which sux, but I’m very happy to have her as a friend.

This is long and she will see this in a few hours and wow I am not asleep and its 5am.

Devin is my best bud and I know that I can trust her and talk to her about anything and I am going to miss her like crazy when I move. She is the most wonderful lady I know and I can’t see that changing any time soon.

I will miss the magical things that seem to happen like getting a phone call from one of our favorite bands asking us to book them while we’re in the middle of a field picking flowers and hot peppers at a farm.

I am scared/nervous/excited to move. No matter what there is only one Devin and I am sad that she is going to be so far away.

Putting a dog in a furry costume seems highly illogical.
